Join an established OT service without starting from zero

Rediscover Physio is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a flexible role within our multidisciplinary allied health clinic in Coolum Beach.

You’ll step into an existing OT service with current clients, upcoming assessment work, established referral relationships and administrative support.

Start with 1–3 days per week depending on your availability, with the opportunity to increase your hours as we continue to grow the service.

For an OT interested in leadership and service development, there is also a longer-term opportunity to help shape and lead Rediscover’s OT service. This is an chance, not a requirement of the role.

The role

The position can be structured as permanent part-time or casual, depending on what works best for the right clinician.

The role is hybrid, combining work from our Coolum Beach clinic, community and home-based appointments, and suitable report writing or administrative work from home.

Your caseload will be shaped around your experience and interests and may include:

- Adult NDIS assessment and ongoing intervention

- Functional Capacity Assessments

- Home-safety and functional assessments

- Aged care and community OT

- Cognitive and neurological rehabilitation

- Assistive technology and home modifications where appropriate

You are not expected to have experience across every area.





You’ll manage your own clinical caseload independently while working alongside our physiotherapy, exercise physiology and administration teams.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver evidence-based, person-centred occupational therapy

- Complete functional, home and capacity assessments

- Prepare clear, high-quality clinical reports

- Manage ongoing NDIS, aged-care and private clients

- Communicate effectively with clients, families, referrers and support teams

- Maintain timely clinical notes and documentation

- Work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team

- Contribute to referral relationships and service development where this aligns with your interests

- Have the opportunity to contribute to new clinical projects, including cognitive rehabilitation

There is no requirement to manage other staff.

As demand and the OT team grow, there will be an opportunity for an interested clinician to progress into an OT Service Lead position with expanded leadership and service-development responsibilities.

About you

You will ideally have:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist

- At least two years of occupational therapy experience

- Confidence working independently

- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills

- Experience in one or more of NDIS, adult rehabilitation, aged care,



community OT or functional assessment

- Excellent communication and time-management skills

- A current driver’s licence and access to a suitable vehicle

- Relevant screening checks, or willingness to obtain them

Experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments would be highly regarded.

Experience in cognitive rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, assistive technology or home modifications would also be valuable, but you do not need experience across all of these areas.
