The Role

We’re looking for a driven and capableProject Engineerto join our team in Wodonga, supporting the successful delivery of civil and utility infrastructureprojects.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely withProjectManagers, site teams, and key stakeholders to ensureprojectsare delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role across the fullprojectlifecycle - from planning and coordination through to delivery and close-out - ensuring strong performance across safety, cost, quality, and stakeholder engagement.

- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinatingprojectactivities
- Provide technical advice and support to site teams and stakeholders
- Monitorprojectprogress, cost, and performance against budget and programme
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement processes
- Support contract administration including variations, delays, and EOTs
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
- Prepare and maintainprojectdocumentation, reports, and site records
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to interpret requirements and ensureprojectsuccess
- Assist in cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting




- Ensure all works are delivered in line with contract requirements, specifications, and company standards

What you bring

- Degree-qualified in CivilEngineeringor similar
- Proven experience in civil or utility infrastructureprojects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, andprojectdelivery
- Experience working in site-based roles within a contractor environment
- Ability to manage subcontractors, timelines, and competing priorities
- Solid communication skills with the ability to work across site teams and stakeholders
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving capability
- Knowledge of Australian standards, legislation, and WH&S; practices
