This is a hands-on driving role focused on the safe and efficient collection and transport of waste across local runs.
Key responsibilities
- Operate waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently, including front lift, rear lift, hook lift or side loader vehicles as required.
- Complete daily vehicle pre-starts and basic safety checks.
- Follow all workplace health, safety and site procedures.
- Complete run sheets and required collection documentation accurately.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and site contacts.
About you
- Good driving record and a robust commitment to safe driving.
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a practical, outdoor role.
- Waste industry or front lift experience is highly regarded.
- A current medical certificate confirming fitness for work will be required before commencement.
- Drivers are subject to workplace drug testing in accordance with D-Waste requirements.
