This is a hands-on supervisory position for commercial plastering projects, approximately 50% supervision and 50% on the tools. You'll be responsible for helping run projects day-to-day, coordinating trades and subcontractors, checking quality and progress, communicating with builders and the office, and jumping on the tools alongside the crew when required.

Key responsibilities

- Day-to-day supervision of commercial plastering projects
- Coordinate plasterers, subcontractors and apprentices
- Read plans, details and specifications
- Plan and organise upcoming works and materials
- Monitor quality, productivity and programme
- Liaise with builders, site managers and other trades
- Identify issues early and communicate them back to management
- Assist on the tools as required

About you

- Experienced plasterer with solid knowledge across steel stud framing, plasterboard sheeting,



suspended and framed ceilings, bulkheads, setting and finishing
- Experience in commercial fit-out and multi-residential construction
- Alternatively, an experienced carpenter or construction tradesman with strong knowledge of plastering, ceilings and partitions
- Able to run a job but willing to pick up the tools and get stuck in
- Reliable, organised and able to communicate well
- Confident managing people and solving problems on site
- Ongoing Gold Coast-based work
- Long-term position for the right person
