SIL House Supervisor (Casual, 3 Nights Per Week)

Disability Support Model: 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL)

2:1 Support Shifts: Night shifts (3 per week)

We are seeking an experienced and confident SIL House Supervisor to maintain and contribute to the setup and ongoing operation of a Supported Independent Living home in Greensborough. This role combines hands‑on support with on‑shift leadership, ensuring the home runs safely, smoothly, and in line with NDIS Practice Standards.

This is a practical supervisory role — you will guide staff, support the participant, and maintain safety and documentation. This role does not include rostering or budgeting responsibilities. This is not an Administration role, it is hands on.

About the Role

As the House Supervisor, you will work within a 2:1 support model, providing direct support while overseeing nightly operations. You will help establish routines, maintain safety systems, and ensure high‑quality support is delivered consistently.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff during shifts

Deliver shared direct support to the participant in a 2:1 model

Maintain safety on shift

Uphold NDIS Practice Standards of policies and procedures and how to train staff in those policies

Support house setup, routines, and operational systems

Ensure accurate shift notes, incident reporting,



and communication

Report risks, hazards, maintenance needs, and participant changes

Contribute to a positive, stable, person‑centered home environment

Note: This role does not include rostering or budgeting, it does include some financial recording

What You Bring

Experience in disability support or community services

Strong understanding of NDIS requirements and SIL environments

Confident decision‑making and leadership skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a 2:1 support model

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Food safety certification

Ability to cook

Ability to build rapport quickly with our client

Autism and Epilepsy experience

Remuneration

Remuneration is based on prior experience in a similar role minimum 2 years experience, skills, and ability to work in a 2:1 setting.
