Care Hero Pty Ltd is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in the Northern suburbs, Melbourne, VIC . This is a casual role, providing essential support and care to individuals with diverse needs. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital part in enriching the lives of those in your care and making a meaningful difference in your community.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised support and assistance with daily living activities including personal care

Engaging clients in recreational, social, and educational activities to promote independence and wellbeing

Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their safety and comfort

Collaborating with families, healthcare professionals, and the broader support network to deliver coordinated care

Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support client care plans

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

Must hold a current NDIS Worker Check

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in disability support, community services, or a related field

Previous experience in a similar role, working with individuals with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities





Minimum 6 months experience in disability support work is required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on client-centered care

Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse client needs

A valid Australian driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Full Australian driver's license is required
