Fleming's Nurseries is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Horticulture Apprentices to join our busy wholesale production nursery in MONBULK.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, getting their hands dirty and wants to build a long-term career in the horticulture industry while completing a Certificate 3 in Horticulture.
As a Fleming's Apprentice you will gain experience across all areas of our production nursery ranging from:
- learning the techniques of quality tree production
- plant propagation
- potting and planting
- grafting and budding
- pruning
- weeding, watering and general plant maintenance
- operating and learning to use horticultural equipment and machinery
- working as part of a friendly and supportive team
We are looking for someone who:
- has a genuine interest in plants and horticulture
- is keen and willing to learn
- enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions
- is reliable and punctual
- can work effectively as part of a team
- is physically fit
- committed to completing their apprenticeship and gaining their qualification

This is a full-time permanent position working 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, with 2 hours of regular overtime each Friday.
