About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Yard Hand/ Sales Assistant to join our team at the both the Maitland & Thornton Yards. If you are keen to learn all there is to know about landscape products this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers in-store and over the phone
- Assist with loading customers and stock control in the yard
- Provide friendly, skilled customer service
- Operate our computer-based point-of-sale system (training provided)
- Assist customers with product selection and basic advice
- Help schedule deliveries to ensure timely customer service
About You
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
- Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
- Knowledge of landscaping products or experience in a similar industry is an advantage (but not essential)
- Truck and/or forklift licence highly regarded
- School leavers keen to start a career in the landscaping industry are encouraged to apply
