About The Opportunity

As a Commis Chef, you'll play an important role in thefast-paced Kelly's Kitchen team, preparing and presenting qualitydishes while maintaining high food safety and presentationstandards.

Reporting to the Outlet Sous Chef, you'll work alongside anenergetic and supportive team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.You'll bring passion, initiative and attention to detail,contributing to the quality dining experiences Panthers is knownfor.

As Commis Chef, you will:

- Prepare, cook and present quality dishes in a busy,multi-outlet kitchen
- Complete daily preparation for your allocated section withinKelly's Kitchen
- Use a range of cooking equipment and techniques, includinggrills, pans, fryers and cold larder preparation
- Prepare mise en place under the direction of the OutletChef
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchenthroughout and following each service
- Check food deliveries and ensure products are stored safely inaccordance with FIFO procedures
- Complete daily cleaning checklists to maintain a safe andhygienic workplace

About you

- You have a minimum of two years' post-apprenticeship experienceas a Chef in a busy kitchen environment
- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Robust written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to grow yourcareer with Panthers
- Excellent attention to detail,



with the ability to followstandard recipes and food presentation guidelines
- The ability to remain calm, work effectively under pressure andsolve problems
- The ability to work confidently both independently and as partof a team.
- Availability to work across a variety of shifts includingmornings, nights and weekends
