Mackay Trailers is seeking a reliable and motivated Accounts Administrator to join our team. We are a locally owned business that has been proudly operating in Mackay for over 30 years, offering a supportive, friendly workplace and long-term stability.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and receipts
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank accounts and transactions
- Follow up outstanding payments and liaise with customers
- Use accounting software for daily accounting tasks
- Answer phones and respond to emails professionally
- Maintain filing systems and document control
- Support management and team members with administrative tasks
About you
- Previous experience in accounts and office administration is favourable
- Proficient with accounting software and e-commerce an advantage
- Experience with Xero software is advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
