Guerrilla Maintenance Services (GMS) is chasing experienced Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers for a current mining and construction project.

The Role
n
You'll be working on a local tin mine in Mount Garnet, QLD. Completing construction and commissioning works for the client, with a strong GMS team on a 8/6 roster
n
n
- Mechanical installation and fit-up works
n
- Safety works, including guarding installation
n
- Pipework, structural steel, platework and fabrication
n
- Working from drawings, plans and job packs
n
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- Qualified Mechanical Fitter and/or Boilermaker/Welder
n
- Ability to problem solve in remote locations,
out of the box thinking to contribute to the team environment
n
- Must have reliable own transport to and from site on start and finish days
n
- Coal Board medical or MMQSHRS
n
- Minimum 2 years site experience (mining highly regarded)
n
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team
n
- Ability to pass D&A; testing and meet site requirements
n
- Valid work visa or Australian work rights required
n
n
Tickets / Requirements
n
n
- Lung screen + MMQ/RSHQ or Coal Board Standard 11
n
- Working at Heights + Confined Space (within last 2 years preferred – expired considered)
n
- High Risk Work Licences advantageous (EWP, Forklift, Telehandler)
n
- RIG/DOG tickets highly regarded
n
- First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain)
n
- Pre-employment medical
n
