A fantastic opportunity currently exists for an Estimator/Programmer to join our team in Geelong.

n

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday.

n

You will be responsible for managing all estimating and production processes of each job through to completion.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Analyse Steel shop drawings
n
- Coordinating the estimation of the processing of steel
n
- Handle all customer queries, quotations and liaise with warehouse to ensure jobs meet customer requirements
n
- Accurate and timely programming of all jobs
n
- Liaise closely with customers and operators
n
- Working to achieve smooth and cost-efficient production, through to delivery
n

In order to be considered for this position, you must have:

n

n
- Sound knowledge,



understanding and interpretation of engineering and construction drawings
n
- Knowledge and experience in steel cutting and drilling processes and machines
n
- Understanding of computer software including: Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and other CAD software
n
- Estimating and Programming experience
n
- Ability to negotiate
n
- Ability to do mental rotation of 3D objects
n
- Previous work experience within a steel workplace is desirable
n
