About Farmers Hub

Farmers Hub gets fresh produce from local farms onto convenience store shelves within hours of harvest, instead of days. Shorter supply chains mean growers can pick closer to peak ripeness, shoppers get fruit that actually tastes like it should, and less positive produce goes to waste. We're currently trading across BP sites in Victoria, with fresh punnets, real grower stories, and a fast-growing local following.

The Role

Harvest Hero is part brand evangelist, part community manager, part salesperson. Most people pull onto the forecourt for fuel and a coffee; the Harvest Hero is the one who gets them tasting a strawberry, hearing who grew it, and walking out with a punnet. The role covers all five Farmers Hub BP sites across Peninsula Link and EastLink.

No retail experience is required. We're looking for genuine belief in the product and the confidence to start a conversation with a stranger — we'll teach the rest.

Key Responsibilities

- Selling on the forecourt and carrying the brand message, turning a quick stop into a purchase and a regular
- Running in-store tastings: setting up, offering samples,



and letting the product do the convincing
- Keeping displays full, fresh and easy to grab; rotating stock and flagging what needs reordering
- Building a local following online and off, including simple Reels and posts to the regional Hub page
- Growing sign-ups to the Hub Club customer database at the stand and at every tasting

What We're Looking For

- Genuine interest in real food, and enjoys talking to people about it
- Confident selling something they believe in
- Knows the Peninsula Link / EastLink area and can travel between all five sites
- Driver's licence and own transport
- Right to work in Australia

Employment details

- Position: Casual, Retail Award Level 1
- Reports to: Tony Course, Co-founder
- Hours: 24–30 hrs/week, flexible around peak times, weekends included
- Pay: Retail Award base rate plus monthly bonus for hitting store targets
- Locations: BP Mount Eliza (Nepean Hwy); BP Peninsula Link, Baxter (inbound & outbound); BP EastLink, Scoresby (inbound & outbound)
- Start: ASAP, applications close once filled
