About the Role

As the first point of contact for customers, transporters and visitors to our facility, the Permanent Part-Time Weighbridge Operator plays an integral role in supporting the daily operation of our recycling facility. This position is based on 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, offering an excellent work-life balance while providing stable ongoing employment.

Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, this position is responsible for accurately processing inbound and outbound vehicle movements, maintaining compliance records,



assisting customers and supporting site operations while ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.

The role combines customer service, administration, compliance and operational support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities

- Operate the weighbridge system and accurately process vehicle transactions.

- Prepare and issue weighbridge dockets and related documentation.

- Manage customer enquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

- Process cash and account sales transactions and undertake reconciliations.

- Maintain vehicle induction records, load registers and compliance documentation.

- Monitor site entry requirements and enforce site rules and safety procedures.

- Conduct visual inspections of incoming loads and direct vehicles to designated tipping locations.

- Support environmental, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR and WHS compliance requirements.





- Maintain accurate records and assist with daily administrative activities.

- Work closely with operational teams to ensure efficient customer service and site performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential

- Previous administration, customer service, logistics, transport, weighbridge or similar experience.

- Strong computer skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.

- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to work.

- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

Desirable

- Previous experience operating weighbridge software.

- Experience within waste management, recycling, construction materials or transport industries.

- Knowledge of NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

- Cash handling and reconciliation experience.
