We are seeking an experienced and passionate Physiotherapist (grade 2)to join our team and deliver high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy services across home, centre and community environments.

This is a fulltime role but will consider Part Time for the right applicant.

About the Role

As a Physiotherapist, you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services tailored to each client's individual needs and goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Completing comprehensive assessments using appropriate assessment tools and professional frameworks.
- Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment and intervention plans, including individual, group and home-based activities.
- Providing physiotherapy services across home, centre and community environments.
- Reviewing client progress against agreed goals and timeframes and contributing to appropriate discharge planning.
- Supporting clients to achieve greater wellbeing, reablement and independence.
- Arranging appropriate aids, equipment and supports to optimise client function and independence.
- Providing advice and information to clients, families, representatives and referral sources regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Making appropriate referrals to other community programs and services.
- Maintaining accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical documentation.
- Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support coordinated client care.

Leadership & Team Support

You will also contribute to the effective operation and development of the physiotherapy service by:

- Working collaboratively with other therapists and supervising Allied Health Assistants.
- Providing supervision and support to students and volunteers where required.




- Supporting the training and development of Allied Health Assistants.
- Monitoring departmental equipment and resources within budget requirements.
- Contributing to service planning, review and continuous improvement.

Program & Service Development

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of innovative therapy, health promotion and education programs that respond to the needs of clients and the broader community.

This includes collaborating with colleagues, networking with external agencies and contributing to service planning, policy development and relevant working groups.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience working with a multidisciplinary team.
- Advanced clinical skills and experience managing a caseload using a person-centred approach.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A sound understanding of confidentiality and information privacy.
- Experience with quality systems, compliance and risk management within the aged care or health sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and a friendly, skilled approach.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

You will also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development, maintaining current clinical knowledge and integrating new learning into your practice.

- Working in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies and procedures.

- Identifying and reporting clinical risks appropriately.
- Working within relevant clinical governance frameworks.
- Maintaining safe work practices and infection control standards.
- Reporting hazards, incidents and injuries within required timeframes.

Mandatory Requirements

Prior to commencement, you will be required to provide:

- A satisfactory National Police Check (PRC).
- A current Working with Children Check (VIC).
- A current Driver's Licence, where required.
- A roadworthy and comprehensively insured vehicle if travel is required as part of the role.
- Compliance with the organisation's vaccination policy, including any annual vaccinations required for the position.
