About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in preparing current and used plant equipment for delivery, as well as supporting the wider workshop team with servicing and repairs. Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and builds on new plant equipment, including Kobelco, ASV, Merlo, Hydrema and New Holland machines




- Assisting with routine servicing and repairs on plant and construction equipment
- Undertaking general fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment
- Working collaboratively with the Service Manager and workshop team to meet customer and production timeframes
- Maintaining accurate service and inspection records

What You Will Need

- A genuine interest in and willingness to learn plant/heavy equipment mechanics — trade-qualified technicians and less experienced candidates (including apprentices) are both encouraged to apply
- Current car driver's licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Previous experience working on construction, earthmoving or plant equipment
- Experience with any of Kobelco, ASV, Merlo, Hydrema or New Holland equipment

Working Hours

Full time, Monday to Friday with over-time as required.
