JPEX Recruitment is currently representing a growing and well-established cabinetry and joinery business in Wangaratta in the search for an experienced Joinery Draftsperson / Cabinet Vision Specialist.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded joinery professional who understands that great cabinetry starts long before it reaches the factory floor. You'll take concepts and designs and turn them into accurate, buildable and production-ready documentation, working closely with design, sales and manufacturing teams to ensure projects move efficiently from design through to production.

If you have strong Cabinet Vision experience and a solid understanding of how cabinetry is actually manufactured, this could be an excellent long-term prospect.

The Opportunity

n

You will play a key role in the successful delivery of a range of residential joinery projects, taking responsibility for detailed drafting, manufacturing documentation and production coordination.

n

Your role will include:

n

n
- Producing detailed shop and manufacturing drawings using Cabinet Vision
n
- Interpreting architectural drawings, construction plans and client specifications
n
- Preparing CNC-ready manufacturing documentation, data and machine files
n
- Developing and maintaining Cabinet Vision drawings, reports and production outputs
n
- Reviewing designs for buildability, accuracy and manufacturing efficiency
n
- Working closely with sales, designers, production teams, suppliers, trades and construction teams
n




- Coordinating project workflows, schedules and production requirements
n
- Assisting with procurement and material planning
n
- Maintaining drawing accuracy, document control and quality standards
n
- Managing multiple projects and competing deadlines
n
- Identifying design improvements and opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency
n
- Providing technical support and practical problem solving across projects
n
- Contributing to improved systems, workflows and production processes
n

What We're Looking For

n

We're looking for an experienced joinery professional who combines strong technical drafting ability with a genuine understanding of cabinetry manufacturing.

n

To be successful, you'll have:

n

n
- 3+ years' experience in joinery drafting
n
- Advanced Cabinet Vision proficiency - Highly desirable
n
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction and manufacturing processes
n
- Experience producing detailed manufacturing documentation for residential joinery
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
n
- A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
- The ability to work collaboratively across design and production teams
n

The position description specifically calls for advanced Cabinet Vision capability and experience translating designs into manufacturing drawings and CNC-ready documentation.

The following experience will put you ahead:

- Experience within a CNC manufacturing environment
n
- Knowledge of Blum, Hettich or similar premium hardware systems
n
- Experience across kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms and whole-home joinery
n
- Understanding of procurement, scheduling and project coordination
n
- Experience with modern joinery machinery and manufacturing systems
n
