2EZY Car Rentals & Repairs is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are operating at peak performance.
Skills & Experience
- At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in motor mechanics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Key responsibilities
Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, instrumentation, ignition, and electronic fuel injection
Inspect mechanisms of engine, transmissions, steering, or other components including dismantling and reassembling of engine parts
Repair or replace broken, worn, or dysfunctional parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings and test and reassemble components
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components such as transmissions, suspensions, steering, brakes to diagnose issues accurately
Provide accurate estimates of cost, time, and effort for a repair or maintenance job
Re-lines and adjusts brakes and perform wheel alignments
Deal with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and more on passenger cars
Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of different brands of vehicles in compliance with manufacturer's guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations
Identify vehicle complications through the use of specific computer programs and scanning tools
Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
