This is a hands‑on role within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment, primarily responsible for spray painting pipe, steel frame modules and fabricated components , along with assisting with general workshop duties when required.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
- Industrial spray painting of steel pipes
- Preparing surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, masking and general preparation
- Mixing and preparing paints and coatings as required
- Applying coatings to achieve a consistent, high‑quality finish
- Inspecting completed work for quality and coverage
- Touch‑ups and rectification where required
- Moving materials and components around the workshop
- Assisting with general workshop and production duties when required
- Maintaining spray painting equipment and keeping the work area clean
- Following all workplace safety, PPE and quality procedures
