We provide a wide variety of food, beverages and essential products to restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, hotels, pubs, clubs, cafés and other foodservice establishments.

About the role

n

We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Service team at our Ballarat office. This is a full time, on-site role reporting to the Customer Service Manager. The position operates on a rotating roster between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and includes a rotating half-day Saturday roster. We are open to considering part-time applicants, with the opportunity for the role to transition to a permanent full-time position.

Key responsibilities

n

Handling inbound sales calls and accurately entering orders into the system

n

Reviewing web-based orders to confirm stock availability and delivery dates

n

Serving counter sales customers in a polite and efficient manner





n

Processing orders and payments using EFTPOS, cash and internal systems

n

Assisting sales representatives with orders and invoicing

n

Supporting warehouse staff with order fulfilment activities

n

Assisting drivers with order sequencing, route planning and delivery enquiries

n

Providing customers with product information and support

n

Completing daily cash reconciliation

n

About you

n

Minimum 2 years' experience in a phone-based customer service role

n

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

n

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

n

Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-based environment

n

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask

n

A proactive, problem-solving mindset

n

Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

n

Ability to follow processes, take direction and adapt to change

n

Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure

n
