This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong farming experience who is comfortable operating machinery, carrying out general repairs and maintenance, and assisting with the day‑day operation of a large family farming business.

Repairing and maintaining farm equipment

Carrying out basic servicing of tractors, loaders, and other machinery

Identifying equipment faults and completing minor mechanical repairs

General property and infrastructure maintenance

Assisting with poultry farm operations when required

Maintaining equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition

Supporting the farm management team with general operational duties

Previous farm or agricultural experience – essential

Poultry farm experience would be an advantage

Experience operating tractors and loaders

Truck driving experience and an appropriate licence would be highly regarded

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to service and repair farm machinery

The position requires the successful applicant to be available to work every second weekend as part of the normal farm roster.
