In this role, you’ll build therapeutic relationships, contribute to individualised care planning and support positive patient outcomes within a complex, high-acuity haematology and oncology inpatient workplace.

Key responsibilities

- You’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based, consumer-centred care while working collaboratively with patients, families and the broader multidisciplinary team.
- Provide safe, high-quality and evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standards and Barwon Health requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and communicate effectively to support continuity of care.
- Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, audits and service development initiatives within the clinical environment.

What you need

- Registered Nurse with minimum of 12 months acute nursing experience.
- Previous cancer nursing experience desired but not essential.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure.
