Our facility in Bringelly plays a critical role in diverting waste from landfill and recovering landscape and construction materials for beneficial re-use. As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking a highly experienced and licensed Heavy Plant & Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Plant & Equipment Operator with experience in operating large-scale machinery. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and have a strong work ethic. This is a full-time role, offering stable employment and the potential for long-term growth within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy machinery including:
25T-35T Loaders
20T-38T Excavators
Perform pre-start checks and general maintenance of equipment
Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery in accordance with company procedures and WHS standards
Assist with yard duties and material handling as required
Work collaboratively with site supervisors and team members to meet operational goals
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the worksite
Requirements:
Proven experience operating heavy plant equipment (loaders and excavators).
Understanding of protected work practices and WHS regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor environments
Reliable transport to Bringelly yard
Working Hours:
Full time: 10-12 hour days, Monday to Friday
Flexibility to work weekends as required
