- Safely operating a skip/hook truck to transport and deliver skip bins to customer sites
- Providing exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to customer inquiries and requests
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition
- Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, pickups and any incidents
- Assisting with general yard, recycling and maintenance duties as needed
What weu2019re looking for
- A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driveru2019s licence
- At least 2 yearsu2019 experience operating a skip truck and/or hook truck or similar heavy vehicle
- Experience operating sorting grab on excavator highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work a casual schedule during the week. There is no weekend or public holiday work except in emergencies.
