Kip McGrath Education Centre Pascoe Vale, is looking for qualified VCE English and maths teachers to tutor Year 11/12 students. To start ASAP with an incredible group of students.

Female teachers need only apply (Required/requested by student and family).

Hours:

- Monday 6:30pm - 7:30pm (1 hour session + 15mins planning)
- Thursday 5pm - 6:30pm (1 hour and half hour session +15 mins planning)
- Days may be negotiable for appropriate candidate

Pay: $60 per hour, $75 per session - inclusive of 15mins planning for each session

Must have: Degree in Education - qualified to teach VCE English or maths, currently teaching VCE

While the position is casual, we are ideally looking for tutors who are interested in becoming part of our learning community for the longer term. Our students thrive when they are able to build strong relationships with their tutors, so weekly consistency is something we value highly.

Qualified Responsibilities:

- Planning each student's session using our educational content and software
- Teaching group lessons (Up to 3 students per session)
- Providing support on our educational content and student management software




- Providing feedback to parents

We are looking for enthusiastic, positive teachers who have:

- Degree in Education - With current experience in teaching VCE Maths and/or English
- Current working with children clearance and police check, and current VIT registration
- Engaging personality and positive, bubbly rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
- Confidence in modifying teaching styles to suit diverse learners, always striving to understand the learner and build their confidence.
- A "can-do" attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound planning and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in English
- Value consistency and long-term connection with their students

Training will be provided on how to use our educational content and software. You will work with a supportive team of like-minded tutors and be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate.
