We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the operations of two busy bottle shops connected to the iconic Lees Hotel Ingham , famously known as The Original Pub with No Beer.

nThe Role n
n

As the Retail Manager, working across both sites you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of both stores. You'll play a key role in growing sales, maintaining compliance and stock control standards, and creating a positive team culture that keeps customers coming back.

nKey Responsibilities n

- Lead, coach, and develop retail teams, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
n
n
- Manage daily operations including inventory control, merchandising, stock loss prevention, and roster scheduling.
n
n
- Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing requirements and company policies.
n
n
- Drive sales and profitability through exceptional customer service and strategic business planning.
n
n
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
n
n
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
n
n
- Maintain high standards of presentation, store compliance, and operational efficiency across both locations.
n

nAbout You n
n

n
n
- Minimum 2 years' management experience within a retail, liquor, or bottle shop setting.
n
n
- Proven experience in the liquor, FMCG,



retail, or hospitality industry.
n
n
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
n
n
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
n
n
- Sound knowledge of liquor products and current RSA certification.
n
n
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
n
n
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
n
n
- Experience managing multiple sites or teams will be highly regarded.
