About the Role
As our lead barista, you will be the heartbeat of our morning rush, pairing specialty coffee with our artisanal pastries and fresh bread.
- Position: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Schedule: 5 days a week with 2 consecutive days off
- Location: Rise Bakery, Hamilton
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently dial in, extract, and serve top-quality coffee efficiently during peak hours.
- Craft precise milk texture and clean latte art at high speed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked espresso stations.
- Engage warmly with our regular guests and build community connection.
- Assist with basic register operations and beverage menu management.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years working in a high-volume café or specialty coffee environment.
- Proficiency: Deep understanding of espresso extractions, grinder calibration, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Punctuality & Energy: Reliable, fast-paced, and positive under pressure.
- Team Player: Great communication skills and a strong work ethic.
