Arborists Wanted – All Levels (Climbers, Ground Crew, ESI & Trainees)

The Tree Company is one of Melbourne's most respected tree service providers, with over 25 years in the industry and three depots across Surrey Hills, Preston and Flemington. We're ISO accredited and service councils, corporate clients, defence, schools and residential sites.

We're looking for hard-working, enthusiastic people to join our crews — whether you're an experienced climbing arborist, a solid ground crew member, ESI-ticketed, or just starting out and keen to learn as a trainee. Our work is genuinely varied and far from repetitive: reactive council contracts covering removals, overhang reductions, deadwooding, formative pruning and weight reduction pruning, alongside parks work carried out by climbers and our 19m Leguan spider EWPs. You'll be using a real mix of skills across different sites and techniques, not doing the same job every day. Opportunities also exist to work away on defence sites and council contracts around the Victoria.

What we're looking for:

We welcome applicants across all experience levels, including:

Climbing Arborists

n

Cert III in Arboriculture (or working towards), strong climbing and rigging skills

n

Ground Crew

n

White Card, willingness to learn, solid work ethic

n

ESI Arborists

n

Cert II ESI, White Card, MR/HR Truck Licence, High Risk Work Licence, Cert III or higher in Arboriculture

n

Trainees

n

no experience necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn; support provided to work towards industry tickets
