As a Signage Estimator, you'll be one of the key points of contact for customers. You'll take incoming enquiries, understand what the customer is looking for, prepare accurate quotes and help guide projects from enquiry through to production. This is a varied role that combines estimating, sales, customer service and project coordination, so every day brings something different.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to new customer enquiries via phone and email
- Discussing customer requirements and recommending suitable signage solutions
- Preparing accurate and competitive estimates and quotations
- Following up quotes and enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Liaising with the production and installation teams to ensure projects are clearly communicated
- Attending site visits and inspections when required
- Identifying project requirements, measurements and potential installation considerations
- Managing multiple enquiries and projects while keeping deadlines on track
- Providing a high level of customer service from the initial enquiry through to completion
About you
- Previous experience in signage estimating, sales and project management
- Experience within the signage, printing, graphics or visual communications industry – required
- A strong understanding of customer service and sales
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple jobs and prioritise effectively
- Strong computer and organisational skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- Confidence dealing with customers and following up opportunities
- A current Driver's Licence – required
