We are currently seeking a driven Facilities Supervisor to join our team full time in Salisbury. Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead the Quality Assurance program at Salisbury, ensure all team members follow the best practices implement
n
- Assess incoming product regarding quality and ensure product has been packed properly at the farm
n
- Reporting any non conformances to responsible parties
n
- Report and manage stock shortages and adjustments on orders
n
- Ensure accurate stock control to deliver objectives and service level targets
n
- Monitor the quality of product through the stages of receivals and packing
n
- Manage waste
n
- Conduct investigations for non-conforming processes and/or product
n
- Daily meeting with sales to discuss the days operations
n
- Daily management of the business to achieve planned KPIs, cost outcomes, safety measures, performance and service standards
n
- Be proficient in the IT systems relevant to the role
n




- Provide effective communication when liaising with internal departments and external suppliers.
n
- Provide leadership and direction for the team, developing them through performance reviews, regular 1-1 meetings, training and development into a high performing team
n
- Train and onboard new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
n
- Complete administrative tasks associated with managing the team including management of leave, time and attendance and injury management
n
- Ensuring the cool rooms are running at the correct temperature and report any failure to Managers
n
- Training the teams in handling techniques
n
- Ensure that all staff have the adequate equipment they need to do their jobs correctly
n

Requirements:

n

n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse receivals, packing and stock control, ideally within a perishable goods environment
n
- Previous team management and leadership experience
n
- Solid planning, organisation and communication skills
n
- Clear and confident communicator
n
- Certificate III or IV, or equivalent
n
- Ability to work well in a hands-on environment and assist with other duties when required
n

n

Previous experience within the Flower or Floral Industry would be beneficial, along with experience working with perishable products. A practical and flexible approach, with a willingness to get hands-on and help wherever needed, would also be highly regarded. A salary of $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
