About the Role:
n
As a PayrollTime & Labour ManagementSpecialist, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of payroll and workforce time management activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and an exceptional employee experience.
n
You will act as a key point of contact for payroll and time-related enquiries, support system testing and enhancements, contribute to governance and compliance activities, and help drive process improvements across the function.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Investigate and resolve payroll enquiries with a focus on time and attendance, leave management, scheduling, roster maintenance and workforce records
n
- Provide advice and support on payroll and workforce time management processes
n
- Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides and training materials
n
- Perform payroll validation and control activities to ensure accuracy, compliance and data integrity
n
- Support troubleshooting of workforce management system issues and assist with defect resolution
n
- Participate in system testing, upgrades, enhancements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
n
- Prepare payroll and workforce reporting and support audits, compliance reviews and governance activities
n
- Identify, assess and elevate payroll and workforce management risks while ensuring appropriate controls are maintained
n
- Provide guidance and support to employees, leaders and team members on payroll and workforce management processes
n
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers to enhance service delivery and achieve business outcomes
n
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy and customer experience
n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- Proven experience working within a payroll function, ideally in a medium to large organisational environment
n
- Strong knowledge of workforce time and attendance management processes
n
- Experience working with payroll and workforce management systems such as UKG, ADP or similar platforms
n
- Sound understanding of payroll legislation, up-to-date awards, enterprise agreements and compliance requirements
n
- Previous experience supporting system enhancements, testing activities, defect management and UAT
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
n
- A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence
