Are youpassionate about water safety and love working in an aquatic environment? Banyuleare looking for dedicated Pool Lifeguards to work at our Ivanhoe AquaticLeisure Center. These vital positions help to ensure our pools remain safe,clean, and enjoyable for all visitors.

Whyyou'll love this role and what you'll do:

You'll be working in a fun, supportive, and professionalteam environment where you will be making a difference by keeping our communitysafe in the water. You'll:

n

n
- ensure active supervision of theaquatic environment and enforce facility rules, terms and conditions of entryto maintain a secure environment.
n
- ensure a safe environment byintervening early to prevent hazards and incidents from occurring.
n
- respond to incidents and emergenciesas required.
n

n

What you'll bring/what we are looking for:

n

n
- Apractical knowledge of pool supervision, water safety, water education,first aid, resuscitation, rescue techniques and public safety requirements-PriorExperience in a Lifeguarding position/ Surf Lifesaving Is highly regarded.
n
- Astrong customer service orientation in dealings with patrons, members andresidents.
n
- Soundliaison skills in dealings with aquatic facility staff, Council staff andmanagement.
n
- Experiencein pool supervision is desirable
n
- CurrentDefibrillation Certificate is desirable
n

Mandatory Qualifications:

- CPRcertificate
n
- Current RLSS / Life SavingVictoria Pool Lifeguard certificate.

- Current Level 2 First Aid
n
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check(NCCHC)
n
- Pre-EmploymentMedical Check
n
- Workingwith children check
n
