The Job:

n

We have a team in Jamisontown (Penrith) and are seeking a team member to join our teams in that location. We are currently seeking outgoing and enthusiastic people who enjoy working in a rewarding environment that gives back to the community.

n

The positions are casual, and shifts will be a combination of weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

n

An important part of our team - you will be passionate and sociable and a part of a tight knit, high performing team where you will work with our clients creating enriched personal relationships and assisting to build life-skills. Johnny H is different to other service providers - we provide services to clients with disabilities, which will enhance our clients with a greater personal and community engagement including travel and participation in a range of activities.

Key responsibilities:

- Delivery of effective support and assistance to clients that enables them to get the most out of their JH experience.
n
- Liaising with the clients and carers to ensure seamless provision of services every time.
n
- Resolve all issues in a timely manner as they occur on the trips or activities to guarantee client safety as a priority.
n
- Individual assistance requirements for all clients are met to ensure high level participation in all JH activities; ensuring that all clients receive the level of assistance they require.
n
- Ensure accuracy of client information to ensure the continued compliance with both internal and external requirements.
n
- Assisting the Team Leader with travel logistics as required.
n

About you

n

n
- Strong communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
n
- High level of empathy.
n
- Experience in a similar role is not essential, but you may have worked as a teacher, activities officer or as a group instructor.
n
- Robust sense of community and engagement.
n
- Desire to go above and beyond.
n

Mandatory Requirements

- Working with Children Check
n
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or ability to obtain one)
n
- First Aid certificate (or ability to obtain one)
n
- Current Drivers Licence & Willingness to drive our vehicles (C-Class)
