About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead business growth across Victoria. Working closely with customers, consultants, contractors, and industry partners, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving sales across Tate's portfolio of industry-leading solutions.

This is a hands-on role that combines strategic business development with key account management. You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, influencing project specifications, and delivering commercial outcomes within the fast-growing data centre and construction sectors. The role offers the chance to make a significant impact while contributing to the continued growth of Tate across the ANZ region.

Key Tasks

Support Sales Director to manage Data Centre End Users, General Contractors and Consultants in Australia and NZ.

Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased opportunities.

Work with BID team and Sales Director to deliver accurate tenders and price lists.

Follow up opportunities and cold call as appropriate within your market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.





Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.

Ensure product line penetration is maximized on all project opportunities.

Support Dealer deliveries and quality enquiries.

Development of existing dealers to ensure we have 2 quality dealers in each sales region.

Development of dealer's architectural presence supporting Tate products.

Work with marketing coordinator to ensure sales documentation is in-line with regional requirements.

Maintaining Salesforce opportunities to ensure accurate sales forecasting.

Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote Tate products and network with potential clients.

Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

Provide technical support and training to clients and dealers when required.

Product Range:

Structural Ceilings, Containment, Floor Systems, Security Caging and Modular Systems.

Working with:

Sales team

Estimating team

Engineering team

Project team

Production team

Finance team

Dealers and Partners

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree: business and engineering majors preferred.

3-5 years in a sales related role; within construction industry preferred.

One year of prior management experience or demonstrated willingness and ability to learn management basics.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.

Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.

Positive and enthusiastic.

Ability to multi-task.

Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce.

Willingness to travel within the region when required.
