Construction Distribution Australia – Truganina VIC

Construction Distribution Australia (CDA) is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team at Truganina, VIC .

This is an opportunity to work with LiuGong , one of the world’s established construction equipment manufacturers, across a growing range of excavators, wheel loaders, graders, rollers, dozers, forklifts, skid steers and more.

CDA is part of the McIntosh Group , an established Australian business with more than 70 years of experience across the agricultural and construction industries.

Our Truganina branch is an important part of our national parts and distribution network, supporting customers across the country with quality parts, reliable service and practical local product knowledge.

About the role

This is a genuine parts professional role. We're looking for someone who already understands the parts environment and can hit the ground running.

You will be be working directly with customers and our service and sales teams to:

- Identify and supply the correct parts for construction equipment
- Provide knowledgeable and practical parts advice
- Interpret parts diagrams and technical information
- Process parts enquiries, orders and sales accurately
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Follow up enquiries and keep customers informed
- Identify opportunities to grow parts sales
- Assist with stock control, stocktakes and inventory accuracy
- Maintain a professional, organised and customer-focused parts department

What we are looking for

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter,



Parts Salesperson or in a similar parts role
- Solid knowledge of construction, earthmoving, agricultural or heavy equipment parts
- Experience identifying parts from diagrams, systems and machine information
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with parts ordering and inventory systems
- A good understanding of workshop and service environments
- The ability to work accurately in a busy environment
- A strong commercial focus and the ability to identify parts sales opportunities

LiuGong experience would be highly regarded, as would experience with other major construction equipment brands.
