This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely strategic Marketing Manager role within a well-established, privately-owned Australian medical and healthcare supplies distributor - one with a proud history spanning 50 years, and a reputation built on getting things right for its customers, every single day.

Now, as the business enters its next chapter of growth, they're looking for a Marketing Manager who wants more than a job - someone ready to take real ownership, bring fresh thinking to the table, and become a trusted, influential voice at the leadership table.

The Opportunity

n

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you'll take the reins of the marketing function end to end - strategy, execution, budget and team. You'll be backed by a Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer, and given the autonomy to shape the marketing plan, not just deliver someone's plan.

n

This isn't a role for someone who wants to be told what to do. It's for someone who wants to be asked, "What should we be doing better?" - and has the confidence and capability to answer.

You'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Owning the design and execution of the annual marketing strategy, aligned to real commercial objectives
n
- Driving lead generation, customer retention and revenue growth through targeted campaigns
n
- Managing and growing vendor and sponsorship relationships, including advertising sales
n
- Leading content, campaign and event strategy across multiple channels
n
- Managing the marketing budget and reporting on performance with real commercial rigour
n
- Leading, mentoring and getting the best out of your marketing team
n
- Partnering closely with sales and leadership to keep marketing connected to what the business actually needs
n

About You

n

n
- 5+ years' experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally with some people and budget management under your belt
n
- Experience within medical/healthcare supplies, distribution, wholesale or a similar B2B environment is highly regarded - you'll hit the ground running if you understand how a distributor operates
n
- A strategic thinker who's just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on with execution
n
- Naturally curious, commercially minded, and unafraid to challenge the status quo
n
- A collaborative team player with no ego, strong follow-through, and a genuine sense of urgency
n
- Confident communicator, comfortable presenting ideas and pushing back constructively when it matters
n
