The position involves precision fabrication and TIG welding across a variety of aviation-related work and is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working to high standards rather than general production welding.

Key responsibilities

- Precision fabrication and TIG welding across a variety of aviation-related work
- Preparing materials, including cutting, grinding and cleaning
- Reading and working accurately from engineering drawings
- Working to customer requirements, specifications and applicable industry standards
- Working independently as well as part of a small team

About you

- Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications and/or substantial industry experience
- A minimum of 3 years' TIG welding experience
- Demonstrated ability in welding steel and aluminium/alloys
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality work
- Ability to read and work accurately from engineering drawings
