Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Complete electrical installations, upgrades and repairs
n
- Install cable, cable supports, switchboards and electrical equipment
n
- Diagnose electrical faults and complete testing
n
- Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings and specifications
n
- Complete commercial and industrial project works
n
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation,



standards and safety requirements
n
- Complete accurate job documentation and testing records
n
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, clients and other trades
n
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices when required
n
- Maintain GAP's safety, quality and presentation standards
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Qualified Electrician
n
- Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current Australian driver's licence
n
- Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certification
n
- Commercial or industrial electrical experience
n
- Robust installation, testing and fault-finding skills
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Reliable, organised and professional
n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required
n

n

Working at Heights, EWP, First Aid, data cabling or Defence project experience will be highly regarded.
