We’ve recently welcomed our sixth veterinarian, and as our hospital grows, we’re looking for another experienced Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician to join our team.

We’re an independent small animal hospital, a Fear Free Certified Practice and an ISFM Gold Cat Friendly Clinic.

We care about high standards, genuine teamwork, clear systems and helping good people keep developing.

This won’t suit every nurse — and that’s okay.

What nursing looks like here

Our nurses are an active part of the clinical team.

We use a team-based consult model, so nurses often start consults, gather information, prepare the patient and client for the vet, and help conclude the consult by reinforcing the plan and organising next steps.

You’ll also be involved in anaesthesia, surgery, IV catheter placement and blood collection, radiography, pathology, hospital care, nurse consults and client education.

We want nurses who think,



communicate and participate in patient care — not simply wait for the next task.

We use clear workflows, checklists and agreed systems because they help people do good work consistently.

Every team member has a monthly 1:1 focused on feedback, development and next steps, and we set aside time every Wednesday for team training and meetings.

Our senior nurses, team leads and vets are taught how to coach and support the people around them.

We’re also a neurodiversity-friendly workplace, with practical systems designed to reduce unnecessary friction and make it easier for people to succeed.

About you

You’ll need:

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing OR a Veterinary Technology degree

- At least 2 years’ veterinary nursing experience

- Confidence with routine anaesthesia monitoring

- IV catheter placement and blood collection

- Surgical and hospital patient care

- Radiography and in-house pathology

- Confidence communicating with clients
