Job Opportunity

Australian Community Villages is seeking a reliable, hands-on, and motivated Site Caretaker to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Bass Hill village community.

n

This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of operations management, maintenance, resident engagement, and practical hands-on work. You will play a key role in ensuring the village is safe, well maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.

This is an on-site position located in Bass Hill, Sydney.

About the Role

n

Day-to-day operations of the village

n

Overseeing onsite staff, contractors, and service providers

n

Coordinating maintenance, repairs, gardening, and site presentation

n

Supporting reception and front office operations

n





Managing resident concerns and fostering a positive community environment

n

Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and the Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act

n

Conducting regular inspections and maintaining site standards

n

Assisting with administrative and operational reporting duties

n

About You

n

Previous experience in site, property, accommodation, facilities, or village management

n

Strong maintenance and gardening skills

n

A hands-on and proactive approach to work

n

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

n

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

n

A strong understanding of safety and compliance responsibilities

n

A current NSW Driver Licence

n

Highly Regarded

n

Trade, handyperson, or maintenance experience

n

Experience in residential communities, accommodation, or hospitality operations

n

First Aid Certificate

n

Willingness to reside on-site

n
