About the role

We are seeking an experienced Landscapers and Operators to join our dynamic team in Canberra, ACT on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a key part in the design and implementation of landscaping projects across the region. You will be responsible for operating landscaping equipment, preparing and maintaining outdoor spaces, and ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst contributing to a team-focused setting where your expertise and attention to detail are valued.

Key responsibilities

- Operate a range of landscaping equipment and machinery, including excavators, skid steers, rollers, tractors and other specialised tools
- Earthworks and excavations, including preparation of hard landscapes and soft landscapes
- Plant trees, shrubs, turf under the direction of a supervisor




- Working safely and efficiently as part of a small team
- Loading, unloading and maintaining equipment on a daily basis
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Assist with general construction tasks as required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or Landscaper within a similar role in the construction industry
- Is physically fit and enjoys working outdoors
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Excellent safety awareness and understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction and landscaping industries
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable transport, punctual and professional attitude towards work

Highly Regarded

- Has a current drivers licence (MR/HR Truck Licence is an advantage)
- Cert III or Cert IV in Landscape Construction (advantage)
- Verification of Competencies (advantage)
