Certified Planning and Development (CPD) is a South Australian planning and development consultancy providing practical planning advice and development solutions to property owners, builders, businesses and developers.

Since commencing in 2022, CPD has worked on hundreds of projects across South Australia, ranging from straightforward residential applications through to more complex commercial, industrial, rural and land division projects.

We are deliberately different from larger planning consultancies. Our focus is on providing a high quality, practical and personalised service, particularly for small to medium-sized projects and clients who may not have extensive experience navigating the planning system.

We are looking for a capable mid-career planner to join the business and play an important role in our continued growth.

The Opportunity

n

This is an prospect for an experienced planner who is looking for more autonomy, variety and responsibility than may be available in a larger consultancy or within government departments.

n





You will work directly with the Director and clients and will be responsible for managing planning projects from initial enquiry through to completion.

The role will suit someone who:

- Has substantial experience working in planning and development assessment.
n
- Can independently manage planning projects.
n
- Is confident communicating with clients, councils and other consultants.
n
- Understands the South Australian planning system including related legislation and the Planning and Design Code.
n
- Enjoys practical problem solving to achieve client focused outcomes.
n
- Is organised and capable of managing multiple projects at different stages.
n
- Wants to have a genuine influence on the way a growing consultancy operates.

There is also significant scope for the successful candidate to grow into a senior planning and

project management role as CPD continues to expand.
