A highly regarded manufacturing company, specialising in the design and manufacture of premium electrical power-testing equipment, seeks an experienced Electrical Service Technician.

The Role

- Maintenance & Testing: Perform factory-based assembly, testing, pre-commissioning, and routine maintenance on a premium range of load banks.
n
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fault-find complex issues across three-phase power circuits, heavy-duty resistive/reactive elements, and industrial cooling/control systems.
n
- Client Site Support: Occasionally travel to client sites to assist with installations, handovers, and technical support (all travel expenses fully reimbursed).
n
- Collaboration: Provide clear technical communication and support to internal teams and external customers to resolve issues efficiently.
n

About You
n
n
- Relevant Experience: Proven track record in a similar hands-on electrical/electromechanical testing or service role (experience with generators, UPS systems, heavy industrial switchgear, or motor controls is highly regarded).
n
- Licences: A valid Forklift Licence is mandatory.
n
- Qualifications: Formal electrical qualifications (e.g., A-Grade Electrical Licence, Cert III/IV, or a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology) will be viewed very favourably, though robust practical experience is highly valued.
n
- Skills: Strong ability to read complex electrical schematics and safely handle high-power electrical testing equipment.
n
- Communication: Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members alike.
n
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to client sites occasionally as required.
