A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join The Leighoak Club in Oakleigh; one of our licensed entertainment venues asa Casual Gaming Supervisor.

As a Casual Gaming Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth, professional and efficient operation of our gaming room. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service, supporting the day-to-day operation of the gaming room, and ensuring all gaming, cash handling and compliance requirements are followed.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to providing an exceptional experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

n

Providing friendly, professional and attentive customer service to all gaming room patrons.

n

Building positive relationships with customers and creating a welcoming and skilled environment.

n

Performing gaming and wagering duties in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

n

Undertaking cash handling and cashier responsibilities, including processing transactions accurately and securely.

n

Completing opening and closing procedures and ensuring the gaming room is appropriately maintained throughout the shift.

n

Monitoring the gaming room and responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, requests and concerns.

n

Supporting the Venue Manager and wider team with the effective day-to-day operation of the gaming room.

n





Completing supervisor duties when required, including monitoring staff, assisting with operational issues and ensuring procedures are followed.

n

Maintaining a high level of accuracy, compliance and attention to detail when completing gaming, wagering and financial transactions

n

Identifying and escalating any operational, customer service or compliance issues to the appropriate manager.

n

Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth handovers and consistent service standards.

n

Maintaining a clean, organised and professional gaming room environment.

n

Adhering to all relevant responsible service, responsible gambling, workplace health and safety and venue policies and procedures.

n

About You

n

Previous experience performing gaming, wagering and cash handling duties within a gaming or hospitality environment.

n

Previous experience in a supervisory or senior team member capacity is highly desirable.

n

Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly, approachable and can‐do attitude.

n

A strong work ethic and the ability to take responsibility and ownership of your duties.

n

The ability and willingness to perform both cashier and supervisor shifts as required.

n

A reliable and flexible approach to work, including availability for afternoon, evening and overnight shifts.

n

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) qualifications.
