NAT & US PTY. LTD. trading as Agapi Greek , Taprodane Taste of Ceylon and Nunu Fusion Thai is seeking a dynamic, creative and career focused individual to join our culinary team full time. This position provides a great opportunity for a chef looking to develop their skills to further.You will ensure tasks assigned are carried out in a timely fashion, to a high standard and within food hygiene guidelines.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Relevant Trade qualification plus Minimum of 1 years’ experience
- A passion for the food and beverage industry and a willingness to succeed in it
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team in a busy kitchen environment




- Positive time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to be able to multi task

Main Duties

- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Preparing and cooking food
- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
- May select and train staff
- May freeze and preserve foods

Qualification

- Trade Qualification
- Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalence

Experience

- Previous experience: at least 1 year as chef
