About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Maintenance team based in Condamine.

Reporting to the Senior Tradesperson, you will support with the maintenance and operation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment across NMC's camp facilities and assets. You'll work across both yard and field operations, undertaking preventative maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and installation work to ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and operational.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance and fault-finding activities.

Install, test and commission refrigeration systems.

Maintain maintenance records and service documentation.

Complete compliance checks and inspections.

Support operational projects and maintenance activities.





Maintain a strong focus on safety and housekeeping standards.

Skills & Experience

Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Experience servicing and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.

Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Experience working in remote, industrial or camp-based environments will be highly regarded.

Thermo King experience will be desirable

Qualifications & Requirements

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic qualification.

Full Refrigeration and Air Conditioning License.

Current C Class Driver License.

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
