PositionSummary

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Central Kitchen Hand / Production Assistant to join our production team. You will support our kitchen team with large-scale food prep, batch packaging, and maintaining strict food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- High-volume ingredient prep (chopping, slicing, portioning, weighing).
n
- Assisting with batch cooking setup and packing finished goods for transport.
n
- Maintaining strict sanitation, dishwasher operation, and kitchen hygiene.
n
- Managing stock rotation (FIFO) and receiving raw ingredient deliveries.
n

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen, catering, or production environment.
n




- High attention to detail and ability to follow standard recipes precisely.
n
- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
n
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15–20 kg.
n
- Full working rights in Australia and reliable transportation for early starts.

About you

- Previous experience in butchery, meat processing or a commercial kitchen is preferred
n
- Able to perform physical work and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
n
- Reliable, responsible and attentive to cleanliness
n
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
n
