Apex Signage is growing, and we’re looking for a hands‑on Graphic Designer & Print Operator to join our Melbourne team.

We’re looking for someone who understands signage, print and production, and enjoys being involved from artwork through to the finished product.

This is a practical, varied role where you’ll wear a few hats and work across different parts of the business. You’ll be designing, preparing artwork, operating print equipment and helping make sure projects are produced accurately and on time.

Apex Signage is growing, and we’re looking for a hands‑on Graphic Designer & Print Operator to join our Melbourne team.

We’re looking for someone who understands signage, print and production, and enjoys being involved from artwork through to the finished product.

This is a practical, varied role where you’ll wear a few hats and work across different parts of the business. You’ll be designing, preparing artwork, operating print equipment and helping make sure projects are produced accurately and on time.

What you’ll be doing

- Creating and preparing artwork for signage and print production.

- Setting up files for large‑format digital printing and finishing.

- Operating print and production equipment.

- Preparing artwork for vinyl, wall graphics, window films and other signage applications.

- Checking artwork, colours, dimensions and production specifications.

- Working with the wider team to solve production challenges.

- Helping with finishing, packing and general workshop tasks when required.

- Managing multiple jobs while keeping quality and deadlines on track.

What we’re looking for

Ideally,



you’ll have experience in the signage or print industry and understand how artwork translates into production.

You’ll bring:

- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.

- Experience preparing artwork for print and signage.

- An understanding of large‑format printing and production processes.

- Good attention to detail and pride in getting things right.

- A practical, hands‑on approach to problem solving.

- The ability to manage changing priorities and multiple jobs.

- A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.

- Good communication and a reliable, team‑focused attitude.

- Able to drive a company vehicle for deliveries and small installs.

Signage experience is highly regarded, but we’re also open to the right person with strong print, design or production experience.
