As an Aboriginal Health Worker, you will provide versatile, culturally respectful care to Aboriginal individuals, families, and communities.
Key responsibilities
- You’ll act as a key link between community members and health services, ensuring access, trust, and improved outcomes.
- Support and build connections between community and health services.
- Contribute to health promotion, education, and screening programs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure client confidentiality.
What you need
- This is an Aboriginal identified role; can you outline your connection to community and how this connection/knowledge will inform the way you work with community in this role?
- Hold or be working towards a Certificate III in Aboriginal Primary Health Care (or similar).
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and health issues.
