Production Supervisor – Value Added | Thomastown, VIC

Due to continued growth across our operations, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our Value Added production areas, including Tray Pack, Polybag, Chicken Cuts and Injector operations.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while leading and developing production teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This opportunity is initially being offered on a temporary basis, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent role as the business continues to grow.

About the Role

As Production Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day processing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead daily production operations across Tray Pack, Polybag,



Chicken Cuts and Injector departments to achieve customer, quality and production targets.
- Coordinate labour, training and workforce planning to maximise productivity and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, quality, traceability and workplace safety requirements.
- Partner with Planning, Stock Control, Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to maintain efficient production flow, minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement.

About You

You are a proactive leader who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with teams and driving operational outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Previous supervisory experience within poultry processing, meat processing or food manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build capability, develop teams and drive performance.
- Experience working within high-volume production environments and managing production schedules.
- Sound understanding of food safety, GMP and quality systems.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
